My apologize to those of you who signed up a while ago and have never got a post. I finally have time to focus on the “The Log Builders Workshop” and so I am making a commitment to put up a new post and video at least once every other week and as time allows work towards adding a new one each week.
I will start this off with a video on how to use a Magic Box for building your log furniture and cutting the ends of logs straight, followed by other videos like how to build your own “Log Picnic Table”. We will take a look at which tools to use for which jobs and how to use these tools.
If you are interested in seeing some of the creative stair work that we have done, then I would recommend checking out our main business BC Log Stair and Rail Inc. At this site you will get the idea of just how far you can take building with logs.
My intention is to build this site into a useful resource for you and others that may follow with a log building passion in the future. I would very much appreciate your constructive feed back to help me improve this site and also if you have a topic that you would like to know more about or a project that you think would be interesting to look at please let me know.
One of the last things that I would like to put out there this week is the idea of a forum, so that we can discuss ideas for project, tips, tricks and the like. If this sounds like something that might be of interest let me know and I will make it happen.
Thanks for you time and patients,
Play Safe, My friends.
P.S. If you find technical issues in this site please let me know as I’m sure we have not worked out all the bugs yet, this would be of great help. Thanks!
